Local Girl Scout Creates “Get to Know West Orange” Scavenger Hunt

Isabella Davis, a lifelong resident of West Orange has created the “Get to Know West Orange” Scavenger Hunt as part of her Girl Scout Gold Award project. The Gold Award is the highest award a Girl Scout can earn and focuses on making an important, sustainable impact in some part of her community.

The scavenger hunt challenges you to test your knowledge about West Orange by exploring thirteen distinct destinations ranging from locally- to nationally-run spots.

If you are new to or visiting West Orange, this engaging activity will help you experience many of the places that make it a unique, diverse community, while helping you adjust to an unfamiliar town.
If you have lived in West Orange for a while, now is your chance to test (and, maybe, grow) your knowledge of the town you live in! It’s an opportunity to get out of the everyday routine of going to the same places each day.
Isabella wanted to create somethig that would help the community, both residents and visitors, better know West Orange
This activity can be done alone or in a group.
You can link to the scavenger hunt here.

This project was made possible with the help of Megan Brill of the West Orange Downtown Alliance, Girl Scout Troop #20091, Heather Fennell, Eileen Frawley, Shawna Roth, and others.
